Dale W. Simpson Award for Excellence in Linguistics

The Dale W. Simpson Award for Excellence in Linguistics shall be awarded to 1 full-time student enrolled in English 301 and/or English 400 during the current academic year. Eligible students must be in good academic standing and must demonstrate superior skill in the required course concepts presented, such as; Phonology, Morphology, Old English, Middle English, Early Modern English, Dialects, Semantics, or Syntax. Recipients will be selected by the English 301 or English 400 instructor in the Spring Semester.
