Dorothy L Livermore Endowed Scholarship

The Dorothy L. Livermore Endowed Scholarship shall be awarded to students pursuing a course of study in the field of teaching, including but not limited to, elementary, secondary, or college level, as well as teaching of handicapped persons, teaching of physical rehabilitation, blind or mentally retarded students and any and all fields of teaching endeavors. First preference to students who are residents of Jasper or Newton County, Missouri with second preference or if none are available to students that are residents of Missouri. Recipient will be selected by the University Scholarship Selection Committee with assistance from the department of teacher education.
