John & Nancy Messick Biology & Environment Health Endowment

The John & Nancy Messick Biology & Environmental Health Endowment shall be made available to the biology and environmental Health Department at MSSU, for the following purposes: Student scholarships, student and faculty research, internship opportunities, educational travel and/or equipment and supplies for said department. If used for scholarships, it shall be awarded to a student majoring in biology or environmental health and must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. The scholarship shall be renewable for up to four years. The department head(s) shall determine how much if any of the spendable amount of the endowment is to be used each year for the scholarship. A committee from the Biology & Environment Health departments shall determine the recipient with final approval from the Dean of the College of Health, Life Sciences & Education.
