Bernard McCormick Philosophy Scholarship Award

The Bernard McCormick Philosophy Scholarship Award shall be awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA having completed at least 6 hours of philosophy before the end of the fall semester of the year for which the scholarship is granted and be enrolled in at least 3 hours of Philosophy in either the spring or fall semesters of the year for which the scholarship is granted. A letter of recommendation from department faculty, an essay (1500 words) to be typed, describing his or her career goals and explains how the study of Philosophy contributes to those goals and a sample Philosophy paper written by the student for the Philosophy course.
