Russ & Suzy Alcorn Family Scholarship

The Russ and Suzy Alcorn Family Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time freshman that graduated from high school within a 60-mile radius of Joplin, MO. Student must have a minimum high school 3.25 GPA. Recipient cannot be receiving a MOSO Merit Premier Level scholarship. Federal and state grant eligibility is required. The recipient shal be majoring in one of the following areas: Criminal Justice, Teacher Education, Health or Life Sciences, or any area within the Plaster School of Business. The recipient may receive this award for up to four years provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0. The recipient may be granted a renewal on a probationary basis if their cumulative GPA is no lower than 2.75 for one academic year. Award selection will be made by the University Scholarship Selection Committee.
